INDICATIONS:
ISENTRESS is an anti-HIV medicine used for the treatment of HIV. ISENTRESS must be used with other anti-HIV medicines, which may increase the likelihood of response to treatment.

The safety and effectiveness of ISENTRESS in children has not been studied.

It is important that you remain under your doctor's care.

ISENTRESS will NOT cure HIV infection or reduce your chances of passing HIV to others through sexual contact, sharing needles, or being exposed to your blood.

IMPORTANT RISK INFORMATION:
A condition called Immune Reconstitution Syndrome can happen in some patients with advanced HIV infection (AIDS) when anti-HIV treatment is started. Signs and symptoms of inflammation from opportunistic infections may occur as the medicines work to treat the HIV infection and strengthen the immune system. Call your doctor right away if you notice any signs or symptoms of an infection after starting ISENTRESS.

Contact your doctor immediately if you experience unexplained muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness while taking ISENTRESS. This is because on rare occasions muscle problems can be serious and can lead to kidney damage.

When ISENTRESS has been given with other anti-HIV drugs, the most common side effects included nausea, headache, tiredness, weakness, and trouble sleeping.

People taking ISENTRESS may still develop infections, including opportunistic infections or other conditions that occur with HIV infection.

Tell your doctor about all of your medical conditions, including if you have any allergies, are pregnant or plan to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding or plan to breast-feed. ISENTRESS is not recommended for use during pregnancy. Women with HIV should not breast-feed because their babies could be infected with HIV through their breast milk.

Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, including prescription medicines like rifampin (a medicine used to treat some infections such as tuberculosis), non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.

  • The coupon is not insurance.
  • The coupon provides savings towards your out-of-pocket costs over $30, up to a maximum of $400, per prescription (regardless of the number of tablets supplied on the prescription) for ISENTRESS. Savings are limited to the amount of your co-pay over $30, up to a maximum of $400. The coupon can be used for up to 12 prescriptions prior to the expiration date.
  • The offer is limited to 1 coupon per patient for the duration of the program.
  • No other purchase is required.
  • Coupon is valid only for patients with private insurance. Coupon is NOT valid for cash paying patients or patients covered under Medicaid, a Medicare Part D or Medicare Advantage plan (regardless of whether a specific prescription is covered), TRICARE, CHAMPUS, Government Health Insurance Plan (“Healthcare Reform”), or any other state or federal medical or pharmaceutical benefit program or pharmaceutical assistance program.
  • Not valid for residents of Colorado and Massachusetts.
  • For patients younger than 18 years who are prescribed ISENTRESS, the coupon can be used by the parent or guardian for child.
  • Patient, guardian, and prescriber agree not to seek reimbursement for all or any part of the benefits received by the patient through the offer.
  • Patient or guardian is responsible for reporting receipt of coupon benefits to any insurer or other third party who pays for or reimburses any part of the prescriptions filled using the coupon.
  • No substitutions are permitted. The coupon is not transferable.
  • Offer cannot be combined with any other free trial, coupon, discount, prescriptions savings coupon, or other offer.
  • The coupon can be used only by United States and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico residents at participating eligible retail or mail order pharmacies in the United States or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Product must originate in the United States or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
  • It is illegal to sell, purchase, trade, or counterfeit the coupon.
  • The coupon is the property of Merck & Co., Inc. and must be turned in on request.
  • Merck & Co., Inc. reserves the right to rescind, revoke, or amend the offer at any time without notice.
