If you have private insurance and an out-of-pocket cost for ISENTRESS, you may be eligible to receive a savings coupon for ISENTRESS. The coupon provides savings towards your out-of-pocket cost up to a maximum of up to $400 per prescription (regardless of the number of tablets supplied on the prescription) of ISENTRESS. This coupon can be used up to 12 times prior to the expiration date.

The same coupon offer is available in different forms. For example, you may receive a coupon in card form from your doctor, or you may print a coupon yourself from this Web site. Regardless of how many coupons you receive or print, you may only use the coupons and receive up to $400 off an eligible prescription, a total of 12 times prior to the expiration date printed on the coupon.

The Patient Savings Coupon replaces the Multi-Use Savings Coupon.

ISENTRESS is an anti-HIV medicine used for the treatment of HIV. ISENTRESS must be used with other anti-HIV medicines, which may increase the likelihood of response to treatment. It is important that you remain under your doctor’s care. ISENTRESS will NOT cure HIV infection or reduce your chances of passing HIV to others through sexual contact, sharing needles, or being exposed to your blood.

The safety and effectiveness of ISENTRESS in children has not been studied.

A condition called Immune Reconstitution Syndrome can happen in some patients with advanced HIV infection (AIDS) when anti-HIV treatment is started. Signs and symptoms of inflammation from opportunistic infections may occur as the medicines work to treat the HIV infection and strengthen the immune system. Call your doctor right away if you notice any signs or symptoms of an infection after starting ISENTRESS.

Contact your doctor immediately if you experience unexplained muscle pain, tenderness, or weakness while taking ISENTRESS. This is because on rare occasions muscle problems can be serious and can lead to kidney damage.

When ISENTRESS has been given with other anti-HIV drugs, side effects included nausea, headache, tiredness, weakness, trouble sleeping, stomach pain, dizziness, depression, and suicidal thoughts and actions. Other side effects include: rash, severe skin reactions, feeling anxious, paranoia, low blood platelet count, diarrhea, liver failure.

Mild rash occurred more often in patients taking ISENTRESS plus Prezista than with either drug alone.

People taking ISENTRESS may still develop infections, including opportunistic infections or other conditions that occur with HIV infection.

Tell your doctor about all of your medical conditions, including if you have any allergies, are pregnant or plan to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding or plan to breast-feed. ISENTRESS is not recommended for use during pregnancy. Women with HIV should not breast-feed because their babies could be infected with HIV through their breast milk.

Tell your doctor about all the medicines you take, including prescription medicines like rifampin (a medicine used to treat infections such as tuberculosis), non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.

The coupon is valid for up to $400 off each of up to 12 qualifying prescriptions for ISENTRESS® (raltegravir) Tablets (regardless of the number of tablets supplied on the prescription).
Coupon valid for use up to 12 times only. Patient must have a copayment for the prescription. Savings are limited to amount of copay, up to a maximum of $400 per prescription for up to 12 qualifying prescriptions.
No other purchase is necessary.
The coupon is not transferable. No substitutions are permitted. Cannot be combined with any other coupon, free trial, discount, prescription savings card, or other offer.
The coupon is not insurance.
The coupon is valid for patients with private insurance. Coupon is not valid for cash paying patients or patients covered under Medicaid, Medicare, a Medicare Part D or Medicare Advantage plan (regardless of whether a specific prescription is covered), TRICARE, CHAMPUS, Puerto Rico Government Health Insurance Plan ("Healthcare Reform"), or any other state or federal medical or pharmaceutical benefit program or pharmaceutical assistance program.
Not valid for residents of Massachusetts.
You must be 18 years or older to redeem the coupon for yourself or a minor. Patient, guardian, pharmacist, and prescriber agree not to seek reimbursement for all or any part of the benefit received by the recipient through the offer. Patient or guardian is responsible for reporting receipt of coupon benefit to any insurer, health plan, or other third party who pays for or reimburses any part of the prescription filled using the coupon, as may be required.
The coupon can be used only by eligible United States or Commonwealth of Puerto Rico residents at participating eligible retail or mail order pharmacies in the United States or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Product must originate in the United States or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
The coupon is the property of Merck and must be turned in on request.
